The property was comfortable and clean with small touches like milk and tea provided. Two separate bedrooms meant no disturbances and the two TVs avoided any arguments over what to watch. The local pub offered excellent meals. The location was great for walks and the cottage was well-equipped with lovely little touches like groceries and cozy blankets.
Felt like being home, no complaints whatsoever.

Comfortable and Cozy Atmosphere: The solid fuel heating may have smelled of soot, but the open fireplace provided a charming ambiance reminiscent of a quaint country cottage. It felt like we were snuggled up by a warm fire, even though we have solid fuel at home and don't smell any soot.

This place is mind-blowing! The cottage is super spacious and well equipped with jaw-dropping views. We loved the local pubs and walks right on our doorstep. The little touches like groceries, cozy blankets, and cushions made our stay even more enjoyable. The communication was excellent, and we appreciated the free wi-fi and parking. Both bedrooms had flat-screen TVs, so no arguments over what to watch. Plus, it's pet-friendly and no smoking on site. Highly recommend the nearby Quackers café and mini farm with adorable piglets. Our stay here was simply amazing!

This place was absolutely incredible! The cottage was so comfortable and clean, and they even left us milk, tea, and cleaning products. Parking was a breeze, and having 2 TVs meant no arguing over what to watch. The separate bedrooms were a game-changer - no more disturbing each other during the night. The local pub served mouth-watering meals, which was lucky because the village shop was closed. The location was perfect, with lots of beautiful walks right outside our doorstep. And the fact that we didn't need to use our car was a huge plus. The little touches, like the stocked groceries and the cozy blankets and cushions, made our stay extra special. The dog-friendly pubs were a nice bonus, too. And let me tell you, Quackers cafe and mini farm nearby was mind-blowing - we got to see adorable piglets! Communication was a breeze throughout our stay. Thanks so much for an amazing experience!

The location of the cottage is superb, with local pubs and beautiful walks right on its doorstep. Guests can enjoy scenic walks to Bakewell or the viaduct, exploring different routes each day. the cottage itself is well equipped and surprisingly spacious, with thoughtful touches like leaving groceries and providing cozy blankets and cushions. the local pubs are also dog-friendly and offer delicious food. Communication with the hosts was also excellent throughout.
The faux leather sofas in the cottage need to be wiped down as they can feel sticky.

Despite the drawbacks, the property itself was comfortable and clean. We appreciated the small touches like finding milk, tea, and cleaning products provided for us. The fact that we could park right outside the cottage was also convenient. We liked that there were two TVs, so we didn't have to argue over what to watch. Additionally, having two separate bedrooms meant that we didn't disturb each other, which is always a problem in hotels. Plus, the local pub served excellent meals, which was lucky since we couldn't get any groceries on the first day.
The shower was a bit of a disappointment. We couldn't get the water temperature hot enough, so we ended up having to take baths instead.
